BWI Group enhances Semi Active Roll Control system with automatic mode for improved roll control
The updated system enables vehicles to maintain a balance between roll stiffness for handling and compliance for comfort, without compromise.
BWI Group has updated its Semi Active Roll Control (SARC) system to include a new automatic mode that allows a vehicle's anti-roll bar to disconnect and reconnect seamlessly while driving. This development addresses the increasing challenge in modern chassis engineering caused by growing vehicle mass, as SUVs represented more than half of new car registrations in Europe in 2024 and battery electric vehicles are about 30% heavier than internal combustion engine models.
