Qualcomm aims to enhance India's semiconductor ecosystem, leveraging domestic manufacturing for global chip and automotive module exports
Qualcomm is preparing to sign a deal to contract-manufacture and source automotive module products from India, which will be exported worldwide and sold domestically, as stated by Qualcomm Global CEO and President Cristiano Amon. This development marks Qualcomm as potentially the first leading global chipmaker to export such products from India, following the Indian government's announcement of a $10 billion semiconductor incentive package nearly four years ago.
