WeRide partners with Elevate Slovakia to launch autonomous vehicle program

Slovakia's first autonomous vehicle initiative involves multi-stakeholder collaboration for regulatory-ready framework and future driverless commercial operations

WeRide has announced its entry into Slovakia through a strategic partnership with Elevate Slovakia to introduce autonomous vehicles (AVs) in the country, marking Slovakia's first AV program. This initiative marks Europe's inaugural large-scale, multi-product autonomous-driving commercial deployment and extends WeRide's presence to its fourth European market, following France, Belgium and Switzerland. With this move, WeRide expands its global presence to over 40 cities across 12 countries.
