Rheinmetall, MIRA and Rheinbahn launch remotely operated on-demand shuttle pilot at Düsseldorf Airport
From May, shuttles will link the airport rail station and EUREF Campus, testing remote driving, safety, integration, user acceptance and scalability in real traffic
Rheinmetall, MIRA GmbH and Rheinbahn announced at the XPONENTIAL Europe trade fair the launch of a joint pilot operation for remotely operated on-demand shuttles at Düsseldorf Airport in Germany, with operations scheduled to begin in May.
