Volkswagen and Sanyo team up on battery technology
Joint Venture to produce next generation lithium-ion batteries
Volkswagen AG and Sanyo Electric have agreed to jointly develop next generation batteries for hybrid vehicles. The move comes right after Toyota announced similar plans to manufacture lithium-ion batteries through its JV - Panasonic EV, last week.
