GM may buy hybrid vehicle battery supplier Cobasys
OEM facing production problems due to supplier
General Motors is considering a potential acquisition of Cobasys according to a report by Automotive News. Cobasys supplies batteries to some of the hybrid vehicles produced by GM, such as Saturn Vue Green Line, Saturn Aura Green Line and Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid.
