Magna to begin construction of Russia plant
Plant to come up in 2010
Magna International to start building a components plant in St. Petersburg (Russia) in early 2009. The plant is expected to come online by mid-2010 and will be constructed in the St. Petersburg 's Shushary industrial area with a total investment of over US$50m. Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, owns 42% of a holding company that controls Magna.
