New factory to double company’s capacity to power 20,000 vehicles

Lithium Energy Japan plans to construct a new facility for producing batteries for Mitsubishi Motors. The facility will be based in Kusatsu, Shiga Prefecture. Lithium Energy Japan is a joint-venture between GS Yuasa Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
