Grede Foundries files for bankruptcy
Action driven by slowdown in the auto industry
Grede Foundries has filed for bankruptcy protection in the US Bankruptcy court in Madison, Wisconsin (USA). Grede is one of the largest cast iron foundries in the United States. The company produces ductile and gray iron and speciality metal parts for the automotive, heavy truck, off-highway, diesel engine and industrial markets.
