Analysts

Anna is a principal analyst and manager in the connected car & vehicle experience team at S&P Global Mobility.

Since joining the company in November 2006, Anna has developed and headed the Infotainment focus area. Now her research focuses on connectivity and vehicle experience topics mainly for the North American market.

In addition, Anna manages a team of analysts that focus on the hardware aspects of the connected car and user interfaces. Anna has led and contributed to numerous projects that include detailed analysis of in-vehicle head unit systems, acoustic systems as well as telematics solutions for a number of international OEM and supplier companies to support critical decisions that shape the automotive and transportation business landscape.

Fanni Li is Principal Research Analyst for Connected Car with S&P Global Mobility.

Ms. Li specializes in the areas of digital cockpit, connected car, digital services strategy and roadmap. She has extensive experience in providing features and hardware benchmark, connected car strategy to automotive OEMs, as well as providing technology and supply chain analysis to tech companies and automotive suppliers. Complementary research includes topics from OEM strategy, digital cockpit hardware and features benchmark, supply chain analysis and consumer adoption of features and services.

Her responsibilities include research and analysis of digital cockpit and connected car in China as well as global lead of over the air update and connected services market analysis.

Fanni Li has 10 years working experience in automotive industry with engineering background. Prior to joining S&P Global Mobility, she worked for global European automotive group for several years focusing on project management and product development of infotainment domain products.

Fanni Li holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronic System from the University of Technology of Compiegne in France, along with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Canberra.

Jie Yang is a Senior Research Analyst at S&P Global Mobility. She is responsible for propulsion and thermal management technology forecast, as well as supply chain analysis of these domains in Greater China.

Jie had previously worked with Daimler China Research & Development as a powertrain engineer, in charge of the development of thermal management system. Jie graduated from The University of Southern California, USA with a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Owen Chen is an Associate director and Senior Principal Analyst at S&P Global, where he leads the company’s global research on software-defined vehicles. His primary areas of expertise include AI, software defined vehicles, autonomous driving and semiconductors.

Owen joined S&P Global’s Beijing office in 2021, where he led the team focused on China’s autonomous driving and semiconductor markets. In 2024, he moved to the UK office to lead S&P Global’s research on software-defined vehicles globally.

Prior to joining S&P Mobility, Owen held senior roles at Mercedes-Benz in Germany and China, contributing to L3 automated driving development. Before the experience at Mercedes-Benz, Owen worked on vehicle safety development at ZF Asia Tech Centre.

Owen Chen is completing his Master’s in Engineering Management at Tsinghua University.
