Ichikoh Industries announces first half profit

Ichikoh Industries has reported a profit for first-half 2010 on improved sales. For the six-month period ending 30 September, the company saw an increase in revenues of 15.2% year-on-year (y/y) to ¥47.6 billion (US$588.6 million). This has helped support a turnaround from loss to profit during the period, seeing operating profits rise from a loss of ¥1.7 billion in 2009 to ¥1.1 billion, while net losses of ¥4.69 billion became a profit of ¥740 million.
