Mitsui Chemicals, Formosa to jointly develop electrolyte solution for lithium-ion batteries
Partners to invest USD20m in 50:50 JV
Taiwan-based Formosa Plastics has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with Japanese company Mitsui Chemicals for production and distribution of electrolyte solution used in lithium-ion batteries in China, says Mitsui’s press release.
