China imports 60% of EV battery materials
Local Chinese power batteries fail to meet necessary requirements
Chinese electric vehicle (EV) battery-makers are importing over 60% of the raw materials needed to make the batteries, according to a report in the Chinese Nanfang Daily newspaper, which cites sources at local Chinese EV producers.
