Mitsui Kinzoku Catalysts America Inc invests $19.5 million in Frankfort, Kentucky, USA manufacturing plant
To manufacture catalytic converters for automobiles and motorcycles, beginning operations by July 2015.
Mitsui Kinzoku Catalysts America Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co. Ltd., will invest $19.5 million to establish a manufacturing operation in Frankfort, Kentucky, with plans to create 50 new, full-time jobs. The manufacturer plans to lease an existing building in Frankfort to manufacture catalytic converters for automobiles and motorcycles. The company hopes to begin operations by July 2015.
