Japanese component suppliers affiliated to major domestic automakers are likely to suffer profit declines during the current fiscal year (FY) that ends in March 2015, reports the Nikkei financial daily. The gloomy outlook is mainly attributable to a drop in domestic output at automakers at a time when supply contracts are increasingly being siphoned away by competitors.
