Daihatsu confirms supply to Chinese automakers
Unconfirmed reports that the transmissions from Daihatsu will feature in the Tainjin FAW Xiali small car.
Daihatsu will begin to supply automotive components to Chinese automakers. Company president Masanori Mitsui stated yesterday in an interview with Kyodo News that the company is planning to begin supply of transmission technology to Chinese automakers, but he declined to name any specific OEMs.
