TrelleborgVibracoustic expands Yantai plant in China
Production capacity doubles
TrelleborgVibracoustic, a global supplier of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) solutions, has inaugurated its expanded production base in Yantai, Shandong province, China, the supplier company said in a statement sent directly to IHS Automotive. With total investment of CNY200 million (USD32.7 million), the anti-vibrations solutions (AVS) supplier has added 8,000 square metres, which makes the Yantai site 16,000 square metres in size. The plant, which employs 380 workers, includes research and development (R&D) capabilities for tooling and process design as well as manufacturing and assembly.
