F-Pace on display showcases the possibilities for the connected car.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has showcased a Jaguar F-Pace crossover featuring connected car technology at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas (United States). According to Autocar the vehicle features extra infotainment hardware supplied by Intel and a bespoke graphical interface specially developed for the event. The car connects to an Intel gateway inside an owner's house, which allows it to communicate with other connected devices. Functionality includes the ability to match the temperature set inside the house or stream music from the same track playlist. In addition, it also provides security alerts to the house when a the boot is opened with the owners able to use the rear facing camera to view the situation remotely.
