The UK government has announced that it will contribute GBP20 million (USD28.6 million) to projects that support the development of autonomous driving technology. According to a statement released by the Department for Business, Skills and Innovation, the funding will be split across eight initiatives, and is part of a wider GBP100-million Intelligent Mobility Fund.
