Samsung SDI plans to invest about KRW1 trillion (USD872 million) this year for expanding its existing facilities and build new ones in Europe, reports Pulse News. The investment includes a capital injection of KRW974.6 billion (USD849 million) into rechargeable and storage battery, with major focus on electric vehicles (EVs).
