NSK develops next generation Creep-Free bearings for hybrids, EVs
Targets USD13.4 million in global sales of product by 2020
NSK has developed the next generation of Creep-Free lineup of bearings for hybrid and electric vehicle drivetrain components, according to a press release. The new bearings have increased resistance to static and rotational creep and are easier to assemble without the need to anchor them mechanically. NSK targets JPY1.5 billion (USD13.4 million) in global sales for the product in 2020.
