Magneti Marelli showcases EV, lighting, lightweight materials solutions at 2016 Beijing Auto Show
Displays 48 Volt PERF.E.T. hybrid system, energy storage systems, motors, high voltage invertors
Magneti Marelli is showcasing products for hybrid-electric propulsion at Auto China 2016, says a company press release. The company is exhibiting its 48 Volt PERF.E.T. (PERForming and Efficient Transmission) hybrid system, energy storage systems such as 60 and 120 kW KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), 50 kW HERS (Heat Energy Recovery System) and solutions adopted in Formula E like 6-phase 300 kW motor generators and 3-phase 150 kW inverters. Magneti Marelli is also presenting high and low voltage electric motors, high voltage inverters, motorised throttle valve made of lightweight materials and 600 bar GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) systems with pump, injector and electronic control unit (ECU).
