Samsung SDI, LG Chem fail to get battery certifications from China – report
Suppliers plan to resubmit their applications for certification later this year
Applications for battery certifications filed by LG Chem and Samsung SDI—South Korea’s two biggest electric vehicle batter producers—recently have been rejected by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on 21 June.
