A123, Argonne National Laboratory to collaborate on cathode development programme
With this collaboration, A123 aims to increase the energy density of its batteries by over 60%
Lithium-ion battery and systems manufacturer A123 Systems LLC and Argonne National Laboratory will collaborate on a cathode development program that will aim to create safe lithium-ion batteries with high energy densities and long lifetimes, the company said in a press release on 8 September.
