Nexteer opens new plant in China
New plant to produce column assist electric power steering and intermediate shafts
Nexteer Automotive has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Chongqing, China, according to the company’s press release on 26 October. The 86,000-square foot plant located in Dengan Industrial Park, in the Jiangjin district of Chongqing, will produce brush and brushless varieties of column assist electric power steering (CEPS) and intermediate shafts for Chinese and global automakers operating in China.
