US-based chipmaker is expanding presence in automotive market to fend off saturated growth in computer market

Delphi and Mobileye have decided to use Intel chip in the autonomous driving system the two companies are jointly developing, Reuters reported today (29 November), an interview with Glen De Vos, vice president of engineering at Delphi. The US-based chip maker will provide a system-on-chip (SoC) for the autonomous driving system which Delphi and Mobileye are developing.
