Motherson Sumi Systems acquires PKC Group for USD616 million
Acquisition positions the Indian company as a major supplier of wiring harnesses for commercial vehicles
Motherson Sumi Systems Limited (MSSL) has completed the EUR571 million (USD616.3 million) acquisition of Finland-based wiring systems supplier PKC Group, the leading Indian automotive supplier said in a press release today (27 March). The companies had entered a merger agreement on 19 January this year. Two weeks later on 6 February, MSSL made a voluntary recommended offer through its wholly owned subsidiary MSSL Estonia WH OÜ. The offer expired on 21 March.
