Delphi plans to begin self-driving taxi service in US this year – report
Company also plans to begin similar service in Europe this year
Delphi plans to roll out its self-driving taxi service, similar to the one the US supplier is currently running in Singapore, in Europe and the United States, this year. The company is expected to announce plans for its self-driving taxi service in the United States within the next month or so, Automotive News reported on 13 May. “We are going through the final application process, and we expect approval in the next four weeks or so," Glen De Vos, chief technology officer (CTO) of Delphi told Automotive News.
