Delphi, Transdev to jointly develop fully automated transport system
US supplier to integrate its CSLP autonomous driving platform in French transport company’s mobility service vehicles
Delphi has entered a commercial partnership with France-based public transport company Transdev to develop fully automated mobility-on-demand transport system (AMoD), the two companies said in a press release on 7 June. The AMoD system will use Transdev’s Universal Routing Engine (URE) and Delphi’s Centralized Sensing, Localization and Planning (CSLP) autonomous driving platform, which the US-bases supplier is developing with Mobileye. Apart from integrating its CSLP platform in Transdev mobility service vehicles, Delphi will bring on board expertise of some of its companies, including vehicle control software of Ottomatika, real-time data analytics of Control-Tec and over-the air (OTA) software update of Movimento.
