BMW aims to cut EUR1 billion in indirect procurement cost
Automaker also intends to cut spending on logistics and information technology
BMW aims to cut indirect procurement costs by EUR1 billion (USD1.13 billion) by 2019, Reuters reported on 6 July citing Handelsblatt. Markus Duesmann, head of production at BMW, told the German newspaper that development costs are rising and the company needs to finance such costs in part through cost cutting in coming years.
