Company raises full-year 2017 sales and earnings outlook

Delphi’s net income increased 43% year-over-year (y/y) to USD369 million in the second quarter ended 30 June 2017, the US-based automotive supplier said in a press release on 2 August. The company also reported 18.8% y/y growth in operating income to USD468 million, resulting in operating income margin of 10.8%. Delphi recorded strong growth in profit in the second quarter as sales improved 2.7% y/y to USD4.3 billion.
