Honeywell appoints Cristina Segal vice president and general manager of its Connected Vehicle business

Lear will collaborate with Honeywell to jointly provide automotive software technology and infrastructure solutions to address threats associated with connected and autonomous vehicles development, the two US-based companies announced in a press release on 12 September. The collaboration will result in pairing of Lear’s expertise in automotive electrical distribution systems and connected gateway with Honeywell’s intrusion detection technology software and security operations centers to provide automakers with technologies to address vehicle prognostics and ensure their safety and security.
