Delphi to use BlackBerry’s QNX OS for autonomous driving system
US supplier will use the OS to offer enhanced safety and security in its autonomous driving platform
Delphi has entered a commercial partnership with BlackBerry to use the latter’s QNX operating system (OS) in its autonomous driving platform called Centralized Sensing Localization and Planning (CSLP), the US-based supplier said in a press release on 20 September. BlackBerry QNX OS will facilitate Delphi’s Ottomatika software algorithms and middleware and deliver enhanced performance and safety.
