LyondellBasell to acquire plastic compounds supplier A. Schulman
Company expects to complete the acquisition in second half of 2018
LyondellBasell has entered a definitive agreement to acquire A. Schulman, a US-based supplier of plastic compounds, for a total consideration of USD2.25 billion, the Netherlands-based chemical company said in a press release on 15 February. Under the terms of the agreement, LyondellBasell will buy 100% of A. Schulman stock for USD42 per share in cash and one contingent value right per share and assume its outstanding debt and certain other obligations.
