SABIC, Mitsubishi Chemical JV starts production of high-value chemicals in Saudi Arabia
MMA plant has 250,000 metric tons annual capacity, PMMA plant has 40,000 metric tons annual capacity
Samac, a joint venture between SABIC and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC), has started production of high-value chemicals, Methyl Methacrylate Monomer (MMA) and Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA), at a plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, according to a company press release on 4 April.
