Strike continues at Lear’s seating plant in Canada as union members reject tentative agreement
Lear’s Ajax plant supplies seats to FCA’s Brampton assembly plant
Workers at Lear’s seating plant in Ajax, Canada continue to be on strike after they voted against the tentative agreement, according to Unifor Local 222 website. Earlier on Tuesday (1 May) morning, the Union Local 222, which represents 320 workers at Lear’s Ajax facility, reported that they reached a tentative agreement with the management and a ratification meeting was scheduled in the evening same day.
