Lear, Unifor reach another tentative agreement to avert closure of Canadian seating plant
Continuing strike has forced FCA to halt production at its Brampton assembly plant
Unifor has reached a tentative agreement with Lear at the supplier’s seating plant in Ajax, Ontario (Canada), according to Unifor Local 222 website. “A new tentative agreement has been reached with Lear Ajax. A ratification meeting will take place at 4pm on Friday, May 4 at the Unifor Local 222 Union Hall,” the website said, providing an update on the strike.
