DuPont launches thermoplastic PBT polyester resins for EV/HEV connectors
New products offer long-term reliability, design flexibility
DuPont Transportation & Advanced Polymers, a newly formed business segment within DowDuPont’s Specialty Products Division, has launched two new ‘Crastin’ thermoplastic polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) polyester resins—FR684NH1 OR162 and HR5330HFS OR516—for high-voltage connectors used in electric and hybrid-electric vehicles, according to a press release on 15 October.
