GM’s Cruise Automation to establish office in Seattle
Cruise intends to leverage Seattle’s status as a hub for software engineers, data analysts and experts in computer vision and machine learning and hire up to 200 engineers by the end of 2019
Cruise Automation, the autonomous vehicle unit of GM, is planning to establish a new office in Seattle, Washington (United States), TechCrunch reported on 19 November. The company intends to leverage Seattle’s status as a hub for software engineers, data analysts and experts in computer vision and machine learning. Cruise has not finalized location for its new office in Seattle. However, the company plans to employ between 100 and 200 engineers at its new Seattle office by the end of next year.
