Two partners will initially develop solutions for GAC

Visteon has partnered with China-based Tencent to jointly develop autonomous driving and intelligent cockpit solutions, the US-based supplier said in a press release last week. Under the agreement, Visteon’s SmartCore cockpit domain controller (CDC) will incorporate Tencent Automotive Intelligence (TAI) solutions allowing users to interact with vehicles based on their facial expressions, voices and gesture recognitions.
