Geneva Motor Show 2019: TomTom, Elektrobit release 'HD map horizon' for automated driving
New solution is targeted for the SAE Level 2 or higher autonomous driving applications
TomTom and Elektrobit have released jointly- developed high definition (HD) map horizon for automated driving vehicles at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, TomTom said in a press release on 7 March. The new solution combines TomTom AutoStream and Elektrobit’s EB robinos Predictor and helps vehicles build a highly accurate virtual picture of the road ahead for safer and more comfortable driving.
