Visteon supplies SmartCore cockpit domain controller on Tata Harrier SUV
SmartCore CDC combines infotainment system, instrument clusters, head-up display and driver monitoring functions on a single chip
Visteon is supplying its SmartCore cockpit domain controller (CDC) to power the infotainment system and hybrid and digital instrument cluster variants on the new Tata Harrier SUV, the company said in a press release on 28 May. In the newly-launched SUV, the CDC incorporates the silver box, a tablet style infotainment display with button panel and a reconfigurable instrument cluster.
