DuPont, ExxonMobil develop new thermoplastic vulcanizates for automotive seals
New thermoplastic vulcanizates offers improved bonding to EDPM rubber substrates and a lower coefficient of friction for the easy opening and closing of doors and windows
DuPont's transportation and industrial unit and ExxonMobil Chemical’s specialty elastomers business have jointly developed new thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) - Santoprene- for automotive corner mold seals, Plastics News reported on 1 July.
