Neolix partners with Noon to test autonomous vehicles in UAE, Saudi Arabia

Under the partnership, Neolix will provide driverless vehicles to noon, that are customized to the region’s weather conditions

Chinese technology company Neolix has partnered with the Middle East-based e-commerce company noon to conduct trials of autonomous vehicles in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported on 23 July. Under the partnership, Neolix will provide driverless vehicles to noon, that are customized to the region’s weather conditions. The e-commerce company will use these vehicles for its last mile delivery in select areas of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, over the next few weeks. The company has not provided details about deploying these vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
