In affected vehicles, the defective PCM software may cause engine failures, posing safety risks

GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile, a joint-venture between GAC Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA), is recalling 9,052 vehicles in China to fix problem with the software of powertrain control module (PCM), the Chinese market regulator State Administration for Market Regulator (SAMR) said in a press release on 9 August.
