COVID-19 pandemic: Visteon outlines measures to deal with crisis; withdraws FY 2020 outlook
Company begins production of protective face shield at its Pamela plant in Portugal
Visteon is taking several measures in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the company said in a press release on 9 April. The US-based supplier has temporarily suspended or significantly reduced production at certain facilities in the America, Europe, and most of Asia outside China in response to governmental requirements and production suspensions by many of its OEM customers. In China, where restriction on business activities has been removed, Visteon is resuming operations at its facilities, while ensuring health and safety of its workers.
