SABIC reports 4.9% y/y decline in FY2016 net income to USD4.7 billion
Sales drops 10.3% y/y
SABIC has reported 4.9% year-over-year (y/y) decline in net income to SAR17.8 billion (USD4.7 billion) in the financial year ended 31 December 2016, the company said in a press release. Sales declined 10.3% y/y to SAR132.8 billion. Lower sales also affected SABIC’s operating income which decreased 4.9% y/y to SAR28 billion.
