Visteon, ECARX to develop intelligent cockpit using Qualcomm technology
Visteon will leverage Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform into its SmartCore cockpit domain controller to create an infotainment ecosystem
Visteon has teamed up with ECARX and Qualcomm Technologies to develop intelligent cockpit solutions, the US-based automotive supplier said in a press release on 4 February. As part of the collaboration, Visteon will integrate its next-generation SmarCore cockpit domain controller (CDC) with Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform to develop next-generation cockpit solutions for ECARX, a Chinese company backed by Geely Holding Group.
