EU opens in-depth investigation into proposed acquisition of Arm by NVIDIA
The Commission said that by acquiring Arm, Nvidia would gain full control over Arm's technology and licensing business.
According to a press release issued by the European Commission on 27 October, the European Commission has launched an extensive investigation into the USD40 billion acquisition of chip designer Arm by graphic chip giant Nvidia.
