SABIC launches ocean plastic-based PBT for electricals/electronics applications
The company intends to upcycle plastic from 10 billion discarded bottles into high-performance PBT resin in the coming decade.
Saudi chemical company SABIC introduced via press release on 16 May its new LNP™ ELCRIN™ WF0061BiQ polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin repolymerized from recycled ocean-bound polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
